Hot-Lanta

Yes! I know I haven't blogged in over a month. You also wouldn't believe how busy it has gotten at school, on top of me getting sick for a week. My blog has come to a halt only for the time being because simply I am just too tired. I want to scrapbook and make cards but with all the group projects, homework, exams, and interviews (that I am still waiting for to come) it is just near impossible to do. However, I will share my Atlanta trip with you that I went on last weekend. I spent so much money attending the NBMBAA career fair, but most of my classmates that went were pleased with the contacts and interviewing opportunities they had.

I do not have many friends down in the southern states. But I happen to have met someone over the summer at my internship and he had moved down there for work. He was awesome to have picked Danielle and I up at the airport when we arrived. And he also took us out to dinner at a local hole in the wall, Fat Matt's. We had their must-have barbecue ribs. Yummy!

It was extremely tough to get started at the career fair, but I had supportive and encouraging classmates that it made the two days go by so quickly. I really enjoyed getting to know my classmates better. This was only a small percentage of the RBS students that went. 

I had asked Lisa to join me for a picture in the photo booth at the State Farm stand. As we were trying to figure out how to use the machine, we heard people behind us. Omercan and Darryl, other classmates, were trying to surprise us. But we had them join us in the picture. Above is what we managed to produce because we had the hardest time figuring out how to fit everyone in the small photo space. it was the funniest part of the weekend and definitely one of my favorites. 

After two days of stress, Danielle and I went to the World of Coke Museum near the Congress Convention Center. This was exactly what we needed to relax because it was super fun. We saw history of coke and we were able to try different coke products from all over the world. 

I was super glad I had such an awesome traveling buddy. Danielle's cousin gave us a place to sleep on Friday night to save on money and we had brunch with her cool Aunt and Uncle before our flight home to New Jersey.
