Are you ready for this? It was taken in 2006. Oh dear god, it is scary to even imagine. That was eight years ago. At that time, Kevin’s sweatshirts were the warmest things to wear. Someone caught a photo of Grams and I in them. They deserve a layout of their own.

Outlet Shopping
Around this time two years ago, Martin had a friend visit from Ireland. He wanted to experience outlet shopping. It is the best in New Jersey because we do not have tax on clothes. That was one of the many reasons why I didn’t buy any clothes when I was living in Virginia. You cannot beat zero percent.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
I love being by the water. I love looking out into the big ocean; it makes me feel so small. Like all the problems I have do not matter. So whenever I get a chance to just be by the water, I wouldn’t turn it down. I especially like it when I go with people I like. Many has asked how I do it - they ask how I can handle Martin being so far away. Truthfully, I have no idea. I just do.

Concrete Lab
Did I ever mention that I studied to be a Civil Engineer? Yeah, that didn’t happen. But I have the diploma and pictures to prove it.

Baltimore 2
I had been to Baltimore several times before I moved down to Virginia. But for a weekend when Martin came to visit, I suggested that we go to the harbor because he had never been before. I even took him to the same brunch place I went to with Mr. Brodman when I met up with him there a month beforehand. Martin made a great suggestion to go on one of the ships that was park at the harbor. It was probably something that I wouldn’t have done willingly. But we went at the perfect time because we saw one of the shows of shooting the canon.

First Indian Wedding
I have only been exposed to Chinese weddings up to this point - most of them where due to my cousins. Karan invited a few of us to his sister’s wedding. It was an interesting invitation because we all went willing and I can say it was quite an experience for my first Indian wedding. Fun would be an understatement.

Alan and Me
I have been making an attempt finish scrapbooking old photos. It has been a work in progress. Most of the time, I don’t really remember when the photo was taken. It is most likely before 2010 since I have done a good job of documenting my life around that point. I can only tell what the picture was taken for. The one below is of my cousin Alan and I at his college graduation. I say that we have a very good relationship when we were growing up because he lived with us for a bit. It got hard once he got married and harder once he had a sweet baby girl.

It's my birthday!
Twenty six came a bit earlier than I had planned. And I thought I would be in a different place in life. But I am grateful that I am alive and healthy. I have my moments, but I am content. It is a lonely birthday, but hopefully there won't be too many more of those. I have a really BIG plan this year. I have one goal this year and I am going to believe it will happen.
Below is a layout from my last birthday in Virginia when Martin came for a long weekend.
