Missing You

I never figured out why God decided to give me such awesome friends. I haven't donated to charity or done any good for society (yet). Maybe it is an advancement for the good I will do in the future. Donating to charity maybe be doable, but good for society may not be in the realm of my expertise. Where as this fellow in the picture with me, may become a famous future scientist someday. I cannot celebrate his special day with him because this smart "BUM" is down in Virginia doing his internship at NASA. So I will say it from my blog.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARAN!

I made this layout about half a year ago when Sindhu and I decided to have a scrapbooking day. This picture was taken only a few days after we met each other. We were being silly on the carousel. But I really feel the quote applies to us: Celebrate the happiness that friends are always giving, make everyday a holiday and celebrate just living. Whenever Karan and I hang out, it is always fun and  adventurous ( and stressful, and annoying and everything in between). I added a swirly clear thing, and I of course did not want to use glue because it would ruin the layout. Instead, I used brads to attach them. I punched holes with my Big Bite II and inserted the brass colored brads to the layout. 

Message to the Birthday Boy: 

I miss you very much and I hope you are doing well in VA. I will call you later today to scream Happy Birthday to you. But I wanted you to know, I will always be here for you , the same way you have always been there for me. I love you and I hope you come home soon.
